About Climate Action Defense
Our People, Our Power
At Climate Action Defense (CAD), we are more than an organization; we are a movement of people committed to safeguarding lives, communities, and the environment. With 30+ dedicated staff and a network of 1,000+ National Disaster and Volunteer Corps (NDVC) volunteers nationwide, our strength lies in unity and action.
We proudly work hand-in-hand with partners like the National Disaster Management Agency (NDMA), SLMet, Freetown City Council, NGO/INGO and other government ministries, departments, and agencies (MDAs) to ensure Sierra Leone is better prepared, more resilient, and climate-ready.
Every staff member, every volunteer, and every partner is a climate defender, together, we are building a safer, greener, and more sustainable Sierra Leone.
